Glazing a Ham
Glazing a ham is an easy and delicious way to make your ham extra special. Here are some steps for glazing your ham:
- Remove the label from the ham and place it on a baking sheet.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup honey, 1 teaspoon dried mustard powder, and 1 tablespoon of orange juice concentrate.
- Score the top of the ham with shallow cuts in a diamond pattern. This will help the glaze adhere to the surface better.
- Spread half of the glaze over the top and sides of the ham, making sure it is evenly coated.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Brush on the remaining glaze and bake for 10 more minutes until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
- Let rest for 15-20 minutes before cutting into slices and serving!
