Peanut brittle is a popular confection made from sugar, corn syrup, peanuts and butter. It can be made in a variety of ways, but the most common way is to first combine the sugar and corn syrup with water in a large pot over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Then add peanuts into the mixture and bring it to a boil. Stir constantly while boiling for 5 minutes or until the temperature reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Finally, turn off the heat, stir in butter and pour onto greased baking sheet. Let cool before breaking into pieces – enjoy!
