Glazing a Ham

Glazing a ham is an easy and delicious way to make your ham extra special. Here are some steps for glazing your ham:

  1. Remove the label from the ham and place it on a baking sheet.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  3. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup honey, 1 teaspoon dried mustard powder, and 1 tablespoon of orange juice concentrate.
  4. Score the top of the ham with shallow cuts in a diamond pattern. This will help the glaze adhere to the surface better.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the top and sides of the ham, making sure it is evenly coated.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  7. Brush on the remaining glaze and bake for 10 more minutes until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  8. Let rest for 15-20 minutes before cutting into slices and serving!
