Guacamole is a delicious dip made from avocados, onions, tomatoes, and chili peppers. The word “guacamole” comes from the Aztec word “ahuacamolli,” which means “avocado sauce.” According to legend, the Aztecs created the first guacamole by crushing avocados with a stone mortar and pestle. Today, guacamole is a popular dish in Mexico and the United States. It is often served with tortilla chips or used as a topping for tacos or burritos. Whether you like your guacamole smooth or chunky, there’s no doubt that it’s a tasty treat!
